The AIR GEAR Portable Solar Kit is compatible with factory-installed rooftop solar panels. You can use it in combination with any rooftop solar installation.

The rooftop and portable solar panel arrays will function independently. The amount of power generated by each solar panel array will depend on the amount of sun the panels are receiving, the angle of the sun, and the state of the batteries' charge. The output of the AIR GEAR Portable Panels will not appear on the solar monitor installed in your RV. That monitor will only show the power from the rooftop panels. For more information, see this Help Center article.
