Malfunction or damaged Sorein Power StationUpdated a day ago
ISSUE: No power registers on the Sorein Power Station when solar panels are plugged in.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- XT60 plug is not in firmly. Remove and replace. Allow the power station 30 seconds to notice the solar panels and begin to charge.
- MPPT controller board is blown. This can result from exceeding limits of wattage, amperage, or voltage from solar panels or DC-DC chargers. The MPPT board can be replaced-- see notes below.
ISSUE: Inverter outlets (AC plugs) do not come on.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- Sorein Power Station main power button is not on.
- Sorein Power Station overload breaker has tripped. Reset by pressing the button on the back of the Main Unit.
- Sorein Power Station is discharged to 0% and has turned off.
- Inverter outlet button was not pressed long enough. It should be pressed at least 2 full seconds until the button's green light goes on.
- Sorein Power Station has overloaded. Turn the station off and on again to reset it. Remove some or all of the AC power load before attempting to turn on the inverter again.
- Inverter control board has failed. This can result from repeated overloading, use of a Neutral-Ground Bonding Plug, or age. The inverter control board can be replaced--see notes below.
