If you have the AIR GEAR RV Water Hose, rest assured it is not the source of any off-taste. Our hose is made of virgin polyurethane, not vinyl, which does not impart any taste to the water. It also does not support the growth of algae inside the hose.

Most likely the "hose taste" is coming from something else in the RV plumbing.  This is common in RVs where the plumbing system has not been sanitized regularly. If you have not sanitized the fresh water system in the last three months, we recommend you do that before drinking water from it (with or without a filter).
