Shutoff valvesIf you&apos;re using a Y-splitter at the campground water connection, it will reduce water pressure and flow significantly. Avoid the use of splitters unless necessary.2. Pressure regulatorsAny Airstream made in the last 50 years came with a built-in pressure regulator. These are typically pre-set at about 50-65 psi, depending on the year and model of your Airstream.Putting a second regulator on the hose at the campground spigot will slow the water flow, and usually is unnecessary. If you&apos;re concerned about the hose bursting, switch to a better hose that can withstand any campground water pressure, such as the <a href="https://www.airgear.store/products/ultimate-rv-water-hose">AIR GEAR RV Water Hose</a>.3. Clogged/damaged water filters<div id="isPasted">Any filter will eventually start to clog and need replacement. As the filter approaches replacement, it will reduce water flow. Also be sure there&apos;s nothing heavy resting on the hose, like a truck tire.&#xA0;5. Extremely low campground water pressureSome campgrounds have really low water pressure. You&apos;ll start to notice it if the pressure is below about 45 psi. In some RVs you can turn on the water pump to boost the pressure, but keep in mind that this will draw water from the onboard fresh water tank.6. RV plumbing problemProblems in the RV plumbing are not common but do crop up from time to time. Consider whether there might be a problem with:<ul><li>the built-in pressure regulator</li><li>clogs or hard water build-up in the pipes or faucets</li><li>hard water buildup in a tankless water heater </li></ul><h4 id="what-is-not-the-cause">What is not the cause</h4></div>The AIR GEAR RV Water Hose easily allows a water flow of 4-5 gallons per minute (GPM), depending on the campground water pressure. The Blu Technology water filtration system will also. The fixtures in most RVs are set to allow only 2.5 GPM, so you shouldn&apos;t have any trouble using two fixtures at the same time.
