My compartment door won't stay shut after installing the AIR GEAR Compartment LockUpdated 13 days ago

Airstream has used different types of cams over the years, and in different trailer models.

If you've installed the AIR GEAR Compartment Lock and find that the compartment door won't stay shut, it's most likely because your Airstream came with a cam that is different from the one in this product. 

The fix is simple: If the cam from your original locks is different from the one shown in this picture, use your original cam with the AIR GEAR Compartment Lock. If you do not, the compartment door will not stay shut properly.

If you've lost the original "large" cam
