I need Airstream entry door keys but I don't have the key code numbersUpdated 18 days ago

Entry door keys

To purchase additional keys for your Airstream trailer, you need to have the code number that is stamped on the original keys. AIR GEAR stocks pre-cut keys for following key codes:

  • TA001 through TA100
  • 1101 through 1200
  • 2141 through 2140
  • 3141 through 3240

Airstream Inc. does not keep a database of key codes, so unfortunately if all the keys are lost and you do not have a record of the key number, your only option is to replace the complete lock or the lock core. These products can be ordered through an Airstream dealer.

The only exception is the chrome entry door lock that was installed on most aluminum Airstream trailers made from 2005 through 2025. This chrome entry door lock, Airstream part #381547-01 or #381547-09, has the key code printed on the outside. It will be a code starting with "TA-" followed by 3 digits. These keys can be ordered from AIR GEAR.

Keys we do not carry

AIR GEAR does not stock these keys:

  • Eberhard lock series J201 and up (used on Airstream trailers with rear cargo hatches)
  • Airstream motorhome keys, including Interstate, Atlas, Rangeline, and older motorhomes
  • keys for vintage Airstreams
  • common keys for exterior utility doors and compartments, including
    • RS141
    • CH751
    • 001
  • keys for AIR GEAR compartment locks in the series 100-199, 200-250. These can be duplicated at a locksmith, using an Ilco L1054G blank.
