These fans come as a 2-pack, since each Extra Battery takes two fans.Cooling fans are required for these situations:<ul><li>Use of a G1 Extra Battery in temperatures over 100&#xB0;F.&#xA0;</li><li>When using a G1 Extra Battery with a 3300W Extra Inverter or 3300W Control Unit.</li></ul>The Extra Cooling Fans are installed simply by snapping them in place, and connecting the power wires.
