EMS & Sorein Power Station "open ground" errorUpdated a month ago

The Progressive EMS (and any circuit tester) will show an "open ground" when connected to a power station, or an inverter generator like the Honda eu2200i. This is normal with "floating neutral" systems such as those, and it does not indicate a malfunction. 

A Progressive Electrical Management System will shut off the power to your RV when it detects an open ground. The solution is to remove or bypass the EMS. You don't need an EMS when you are using the Sorein Power Station, since the power station has many internal protections to ensure reliable and safe power.
