Best practices for extending battery life of a power stationUpdated an hour ago
To maximize battery life, users of power stations such as the AIR GEAR x Sorein Power Station should:
- Only turn on the power station's inverter when it is needed. This will prevent the parasitic loads in the RV, and the inverter's own self-consumption, from drawing down the power station batteries too quickly.
- Keep an eye on the power station display, so that any unusual power use will be detected.
- Turn off the power station entirely if it won't be needed for several hours.
- Use Warehouse mode for storage longer than a few days.
- Only turn on one inverter at a time (if using the Extra Inverter).
- If using a Starlink, use the "Sleep Schedule" feature, in the Starlink app, to save power during nighttime. Alternatively, disconnect the Starlink from power whenever it is not needed.
- Use Sorein solar panels to extend the battery life of the power station.
- Consider additional Battery Modules for longer periods of usage, or higher expected power needs (such as microwave oven, air conditioner, etc.)
