How often should filters be replaced?Updated 7 months ago

Generally, we recommend replacing every season (every 3-4 months).

There are four indicators to tell when to change your filters:

  1. Once a season (every 3-4 months), or when you see a drop in your water pressure. If you've connected to a water source with high turbidity (lots of "stuff" in the water), the filters may clog more quickly.
  2. Every 1,000 - 2,000 gallons of water use. This would mostly apply to full-timers or frequent travelers.
  3. If the filter sits stagnant and wet for an extended period of time, you should change it before your next trip.
  4. If the filters have been allowed to freeze, they should be replaced.
