How often should filters be replaced?Updated 7 months ago
Generally, we recommend replacing every season (every 3-4 months).
There are four indicators to tell when to change your filters:
- Once a season (every 3-4 months), or when you see a drop in your water pressure. If you've connected to a water source with high turbidity (lots of "stuff" in the water), the filters may clog more quickly.
- Every 1,000 - 2,000 gallons of water use. This would mostly apply to full-timers or frequent travelers.
- If the filter sits stagnant and wet for an extended period of time, you should change it before your next trip.
- If the filters have been allowed to freeze, they should be replaced.
