Help! Water is leaking from a quick connect!Updated 7 hours ago
If you are experiencing leakage like in the photo below, most likely it's because the O-ring in the Quick Connect is missing or has fallen out.
This can happen if you don't relieve the pressure on the hose and Blu Tech system before you disconnect it. Best practice is to turn off the campground water spigot, then open a sink valve inside the trailer and let the water run out, before disconnecting the hose/system.
To determine if the O-ring is the issue, inspect the inside of the fitting/adapter for a O-ring to see if it is missing or looks damaged. The photos below show examples of where you should see the O-ring, which may be black, or white.
