Help! Water is leaking from a Quick Connect!Updated 8 days ago

If your connection is leaking like in the photo below, most likely it's because the O-ring in the Quick Connect is missing or has fallen out.

Sometimes this can happen if you don't relieve the pressure on the hose and Blu Technology system before you disconnect it. The pressure causes the little O-ring to pop out, without you knowing it – and the next time you use the system, you find the Quick Connect leaks.

(NOTE: Best practice is to turn off the campground water spigot, then open a sink valve inside the trailer and let the water run out, before disconnecting the hose/system.)

In rare instances, you may receive a unit that is missing the O-ring.

Regardless why the O-ring is missing, the fix is easy: install a new O-ring.

FIRST, VERIFY THAT A MISSING O-RING IS THE ISSUE

Inspect the inside of the female fitting/adapter. You should see a black or clear rubber O-ring, like the one shown in the photos below.

If the O-ring is missing, please contact us for a replacement, at [email protected] or (520) 605-5000. Tell us it's the female O-ring that needs replacement, and we'll ship you one as a courtesy, while supplies last. Once you install the missing O-ring, the leakage will stop.

MISSING "MALE" O-RING

On rare occasions, the O-ring in the other quick connect may have a missing O-ring. This is the male O-ring. (See photo below.) If that's the case, contact us to request an extra male O-ring. We'll ship you a replacement while supplies last.
