Each additional battery, whether G1 or G2, adds 6.25" of height to a stack. The batteries by themselves are 7.3" tall, but when they are stacked the feet fit into the unit below, so they are effectively shorter.
It is not recommended to stack more than five Battery Modules in a G2 system, or four Extra Batteries in a G1 system, due to the risk of tipping.
