GE thermostats and air conditioners

There are two models of GE air conditioner used by Airstream in recent years. Airstreams with one air conditioner typically used a GE single-zone thermostat. The Airstream Trade Wind, model years 2023-2025, is an example.

This GE single-zone thermostat has a model number on the back which begins with "RAR". Micro-Air makes a replacement for this model, and AIR GEAR sells it as the "GE Single-Zone replacement".

2026 and later Airstreams use a newer, multi-zone GE thermostat. The model number begins with "RGR". Currently, there is no Micro-Air model that can replace the GE multi-zone thermostat, but we expect to have that product by June, 2026.
