Airstream Club International (ACI) International Rally in Minot, North Dakota, August 2026

AIR GEAR plans to exhibit at the International Rally. We will be in the Rally Expo during these times:

• Sunday, August 23, 2026 – 9:00 AM-4:00 PM CT
• Monday, August 24, 2026 – 9:00 AM-4:00 PM CT
• Tuesday, August 25, 2026 – 9:00 AM-4:00 PM CT
• Wednesday, August 26, 2026 – 9:00 AM-4:00 PM CT
• Thursday, August 27, 2026 – 9:00 AM-12:00 PM CT

AIR GEAR will be showing only its two newest products at the rally. These products will be announced in May, 2026.

The AIR GEAR booth in the Expo will not include any other products from AIR GEAR. If you wish to order other items from AIR GEAR, you can place an order online, and have it shipped to the rally.

Product updates

CGear mats

Some colors and sizes have been discontinued. Discontinued colors include:

• Orange/Agave
• Blue Plaid

We have added a new color, "Boulder".

Compartment Locks, Battery Box locks, and Utility Door locks

Compartment locks from the 101-199 series, and the 201-250 series are no longer available. The locks we sell now are numbered 301-350. These are not compatible with prior locks.

If you need a replacement lock from a discontinued series, please contact AIR GEAR Customer Support. We have a program to support our previous buyers, with locks from the new 301-350 series, with a significant discount.

Utility door locks (for the plastic doors of the water fill, etc), and battery box locks, are available to match the 301-350 series of compartment locks. This allows a single-key solution for all exterior storage compartments, utility doors, and the battery box. 

Sorein A2, A4, and A6 models

These variants of Sorein Power Station:

• Sorein A4
• Sorein A6

all require use of a Battery Chassis, which is a 1kWh rolling battery and cart combination.

The battery chassis has small wheels which aren't ideal for outdoor use, especially on rough surfaces like gravel, sand, and grass. For outdoors use, we recommend the Off-Road Aluminum Chassis. That chassis has larger wheels and is easier to roll in all situations. The Off-Road Aluminum Cart does not include a battery.

By March 2026 we expect to begin carrying the Battery Chassis.

3300 Watt Extra Inverter

A higher-capacity Sorein Extra Inverter will also be available by mid-2026. This inverter will be capable of up to 3,300 watts output power (compared to the standard Extra Inverter than has a maximum of 2,200 watts output power).

Sorein Rain Cover

The AIR GEAR Rain Cover for Sorein Power Stations will be available in April, 2026. It is flexibly designed to accommodate all models of Sorein Power Station:

Note that the AIR GEAR Rain Cover does not cover the Off-Road Cart. It covers the Battery Chassis partially (it does not cover the handle or wheels).

New products

Trailer hitch coupler locks

AIR GEAR doesn't currently sell hitch coupler locks. Our experience has been that the cheap ones are too easy to pry off or break off with a crowbar, and the expensive ones can be defeated when a thief simply wraps chains around the hitch (without removing the lock).

We are working on a new anti-theft product that will work better. It will be available in mid-2026.

Keyless entry

AIR GEAR will be introducing a new and unique keyless entry product in May, 2026. This product will replace the round black deadbolt on Airstream trailers made between mid-2008 and mid-2025. 

Coleman Mach 9420 thermostat

Some 2025 Airstream Globetrotters may have been equipped with a Coleman Mach 9420 thermostat. (See photo.) There is presently no Micro-Air thermostat to replace the Coleman 9420 at this time, but Micro-Air is working on it.

GE Multi-Zone thermostat

Airstreams from model year 2026 and later, with two air conditioners, use a GE multi-zone thermostat. At this time there is no compatible replacement Micro-Air EasyTouch thermostat for that specific model.

Micro-Air is currently working on a GE multi-zone model. A replacement is expected to be available through AIR GEAR by May 2026. You can sign up to be notified when it is available, on the appropriate product page.

Earlier model year Airstream trailers with two GE single-zone thermostats can utilize two single-zone Micro-Air replacements: models ASY-347-X01 (Black) or ASY-347-X02 (White). These are available from AIR GEAR here.

Airstream Basecamp 20/20X/20Xe (mid-2025 and later) Teak Shower Mat

This model of teak shower mat is currently being designed. We expect to have it available for sale in April 2026. The price will be $169.00.

Airstream World Traveler 22RB Teak Shower Mat

This model of teal shower mat is currently being designed and tested. It should be available from AIR GEAR in April 2026. The price will be $169.00.
