Can a CarGenerator be used to charge the Sorein Power Station?

CarGenerator is a brand of product that that connects to a vehicle's alternator and converts DC power to AC power. It is actually an inverter, not a generator.

CarGenerator products come in different output ranges.

1000/2000 version: 1000W continuous, 2000W peak
1500/3000 version: 1500W continuous, 3000W peak
2000/4000 version: 2000W continuous, 4000W peak
3000/6000 version: 3000W continuous, 6000W peak

The Sorein Power Station can pull up to 1,800 Watts when plugged into an AC outlet. For this reason, the smaller CarGenerator versions may overload and shut off, when trying to charge a Sorein Power Station.

If the Sorein Power Station is put into "Silent charging" mode (through the Energy Keeper app), the power station will charge at about 750 Watts. In that mode, it may be possible to charge it successfully from a 1000/2000 or 1500/3000 CarGenerator.

AIR GEAR has not yet tested CarGenerator with a Sorein Power Station, so we cannot guarantee that it will work as a charging source.
