Can I install the Sun Shade on a street side awning?Updated 7 months ago

We only recommend mounting the AIR GEAR Sun Shade on the main patio awning (also called a curbside awning).

Streetside awnings are not designed for the load of a Sun Shade. Some customers have done it, but it's not a use that we support. 

Also, the lengths of curbside awnings vary widely. In most cases, the Sun Shade would be much too long.
