Refer to the Blu Technology video owners manual for details about the following procedures. The storage explanation starts at 10:18 in the video.

If you are storing the water softener for 7 days or less:

1. Perform a backflush to clean the system. 

2. Conduct the regeneration process to recharge the softener. 

3. Drain any remaining water from the unit, ensuring not to remove or dispose of the resin.

4. The unit is now prepared for storage.

If you are storing the water softener for MORE than 7 days:

Blu Technology recommends that you sanitize the unit and perform a regeneration process, prior to storing it.
