The AIRLoq will alert when its batteries are getting low. You'll see the keypad buttons flash red/blue when you're unlocking the door, and the unit will emit a series of rapid beeps.

Red/blue flashes can also occur with new batteries, if one of the batteries is in the wrong orientation. Double-check the orientation of all four batteries.
